Hello! Just wondering if getting charged PST in bills even after moving to Ontario is normal

Thanks!

Did you change your number to an Ontario one? I believe that Koodo defaults to charging you taxes and fees based on your area code. I have an out of province number from where I live and I am charged fees based on where my number is from.

PST from which province? Are you getting double charged taxes? That shouldn’t happen. It doesn’t show up like that for me.

Login to your self serve and download your detailed pdf ebill.

What does it say around pages 2-4 about your tax?

@Huzhuz911 - Taxes for the plan are actually determined based on the phone number while taxes for usage is based on the phones location.

Based on your invoice, it looks like you were charged a little bit of HST-ON for a short long distance call that was made while you were in Ontario.

In order to change the taxes completely, you would need to change your phone number. Hope that helps!
