please remove roaming charges

hi there,

 

i have more roaming charges on my account. please remove them. we live close to the USA. anytime my phone is turned off or reset i have to manually select koodo BUT i dont have service at my home so AS SOON as i enter a service zone my phone AUTOMATICALLY connects to a USA tower and starts roaming. it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to  avoid these charges despite following all directions from Koodo.  and yes, my phone is set OFF for roaming.

 

Please see that I have not travelled into the USA and reimburse all roaming charges.

I’ll flag a rep since you haven’t left Canada.

 

Id check your self serve account and see if one of the Canada-US roaming plans would suit you as well. It may be more than what you’re currently paying but may also be the same/cheaper or just worth not having to deal with the extra charges each month.

Have you tried using wifi calling at home?

Hi ​@dfefdfdfd, we’ve checked the charges you mentioned and as they are accidental roaming we have added a credit, it will be reflected on your account in 24-48 hours. 

To avoid future charges please make sure that the data roaming is off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.
