Past Account Balance

I briefly left Koodo (for a few days) and came back with a win back offer. My previous account had a balance and when I came back I was assigned a new account number. The agent helped me to link the two accounts since I was using the same email address and I didn’t think anything of it but now I can’t find the balance on the original account. Where can I find that on Self-Serve? Will that balance be added to my next bill? I did not have preauthorized payments set up on my past account and do have it on my new account so I was hoping to pay off the balance to start fresh.

I would think that the balance owed will go onto your next bill  so long as a bill hasn’t been generated yet. I’m just not fully clear if you meant you have an amount oustanding or not. but let me flag a rep to see if they can offer better insight on this.

I believe what’s left on that account is a prorated amount of my monthly bill. I just can’t find the exact amount to pay it. Maybe I’ll have to wait to see if it is added to my bill since I don’t have a bill yet.

That is correct, but normally you get access to your self-serve for 90 days after you cancel/port out, so that you can pay the final bill once it is generated. That prorated amount will get calculated, and then you’ll be given a final bill, or in this case, I assume it is logical to be applied to your next bill as you returned, and had the two accounts merged.

We have looked into it and we can only see one account linked to your self serve profile.

Unfortunately, since the old account is no longer linked to a self serve profile, we won’t be able to access it from our end here on the community.

We recommend scheduling a call back with the virtual assist, so a rep can secure your account and link the old account so you get access to the details.
