on hold over 2 hours trying to cancel internet

I have been on endless hold for the “loyalty department” to cancel my internet service. Unacceptable. Does anyone actually ever get through?

 

 I’ll be calling my bank next to block any withdrawls/payments to Koodo.

Yeah this has been a common issue for people as of late. I'll flag a rep on here to take a look, they should be able to help out with the cancellation.

Just make sure you're logged into the community using your self serve credentials and they can take a look. They will respond here as I have. 🙂

Hi there ​@Skitchy  Unfortunately we could not find a Koodo Internet account through the log in method you used here. Is it possible that your internet is Telus internet ?

It is not through Telus, it is Koodo, and I can login and see my account with no issue. Seems you are having the same issue as the 1st of 3 agents I spoke to, because it’s “bundled” with my smart home security. 

I called multiple times, and everytime was put to a “Koodo loyalty” that doesn’t seem to have any agents or exist. Unacceptable. 

What is it going to take to get my account closed?

@Darius Koodo  Yes, & on hold from a call back for a long time. I don't need loyalty or anything. Just need to cancel internet, & return unopened router box

To anyone who comes across this thread, this is the way to finally cancel your Koodo internet service. I was finally able to get cancellation confirmation through DMing with a Koodo rep. 

Don’t waste time dialling the 888 number and sitting on hold to an imaginary “loyalty” line, just drop a message here in the forum and work with a rep online.
