On my pre authorized credit card,

I just had moved from koodo to other provider at the end of the contract on black friday.

I had a $45 dollar charge for EFT withdrawl to koodo in january.

But I had a new charge of $50 on my feb bill and was explained from the reo that it is another EFT charge - i had explained that previous charge had been gone to koodo as a payment from my bank but they were telling me that it may had been some kind of charges from the bank and didn't see anything got reflected on my bill.

So I had to call the bank again to confirm it and the rep from the bank had confirmed me that the funds had been requested from the koodo and had been wired to koodo.

Its been a day since I had asked someone to response on Facebook message but there is no reply. And that payments from Jan still had not been reflected.

What shall I do next?

It is the weekend.  I would continue to wait for a response on Facebook messenger.

In the mean time, when you login to your koodo self serve account, are you able to download your last couple of detailed pdf ebills to see if the charges appear there and make sense?

Also check self serve to ensure you dont have subscription services like home internet or Stream+

Yes. I had checked everything.

That perlticular charge never had been reflected and don't have any subscription going on my account.

I don't understand why the rep from the koodo was trying to make that payment as a charge from the bank.

Koodo can’t charge without issuing a bill first. From your description, the $50 amount might be a NFS fee. Can you download the latest PDF bill in self-serve and check the page 3 and 4 of it? it should have more detail of the fee (if it was from Koodo)

Yes the fee which I got charged on 20th of Jan  shows as EFT NFS too.

So which means I'm getting charged double here

Cause both charges had been shown as  EFT NFS

Did this show up in your bank or on Koodo bill? If it showed up in your bank, your bank might charge another Non sufficient fund (NSF) fee as well.

So to confirm, did you have enough money on the account when Koodo withdrew the money?

Typically, both Bank and Koodo can charge you the NSF fee. Koodo’s NSF fee normally will be issued on your next bill, and the bank’s NSF fee would be charged as soon as they could. One NSF amount will go to Koodo, and one NSF is charged by the bank.

As mentioned earlier, can you log into your billing in the Koodo account, search for billing history, and see if there is any NSF fee in the last month’s and this month’s bill?

To avoid any further NSF fees, you can consider switching to Plaid for pre-authorized payments from your bank account. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-pre-authorized-payments

If the question is how to contact Koodo, you could schedule a call back from Koodo using their digital assist www.koodo.com/chat you can scheduled a call back to a Canadian number of your choice.
