To avoid future charges please make sure that the data roaming is off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.

+4Yes, Koodo usually refunds this. Before we flag a rep, what date were you charged for, and how much? Also, to prevent this from happening again make sure you disable roaming on your phone :)

To avoid this from happening again, make sure to manually select your network to Koodo, so that your phone does not automatically connect to a nearby U.S. cellular tower. You will need to do this every time you restart your phone.
