Hello. I live next to the U.S. boarder in Canada, and was charged roaming fees. Could I get my money back.

Yes, Koodo usually refunds this. Before we flag a rep, what date were you charged for, and how much? Also, to prevent this from happening again make sure you disable roaming on your phone :)

They are on January 18, and January 29.

I have flagged a rep for you.

To avoid this from happening again, make sure to manually select your network to Koodo, so that your phone does not automatically connect to a nearby U.S. cellular tower. You will need to do this every time you restart your phone.

Hi @Scott B, we’ve checked the charges you mentioned and as they are accidental roaming we have added a credit to your account, you can check it out in your self-serve.

To avoid future charges please make sure that the data roaming is off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.

For more details on how to prevent accidental roaming charges, you can check out this article.
