Line cancelled and still being billed

Moved out of Montreal, CA in Oct 2025

Cancelled the line in Nov 2025

I thought the line was cancelled before seeing a missed payment in Jan 2026.
I called the rep, and he mentioned that I need to pay the remaining balance even though I did not use the service.
I ended up paying the bill close to $110, and the rep confirmed the line was cancelled.


Again I am being billed  for Feb 2026. 
This is really frustrating. Just to cancel a line it is a head ache and being robbed.

Also tried cancelling after delay in receiving new SIM card in mail and then being sent defection mobile phone.  Hellish trying to get any help with Koodo Assist and virtually impossible to reach a human.  When you do get a person the information is different each time.  Don’t get accurate information in a Koodo store either.   When  went to a Koodo store I was told the phone was defective and I should return it to Koodo.  I said I wanted to cancel the service but was not told that I would have to contact Koodo online to do that.  Seems the people in the stores can’t actually help.  Whole experience has been a time wasting nightmare.

Unfortunately stores don’t have customer service reps, but they have Sales reps.  To cancel you need to request a callback via Koodo assist.

If there is an issue with your phone during the return period, you can contact the webstore if you purchased your phone online.  If you purchased the phone in store, you can return it instore.
