Koodo schedule a call back no longer a thing? The customer service absolutely sucks now. Also know Koodo will scam you $50 if you connect your bank without telling you.

So yes, the Koodo callback to speak with a rep is still a thing.

 

What is the issue you are having?  Did you set up auto pay by bank?

I tried using the Koodo Assist as usual to schedule a call back, but the bot kept showing me a chat with rep option only and then a Koodo rep tells me they only do chat now and there is no way for them to call me and resolve the billing issue. I did setup auto pay by bank and they took it upon themselves to try to take a payment which did not go through so they charged me a $50 fee for NSF without informing me they would take it if there is not enough funds in the account. I removed the bank payment since.

If you download your detailed pdf ebill, on Page 1 just below Total Due states that the funds are charged 15 days from your bill date.

 

 

 

Also it is mentioned on the Koodo website regarding pre-authorized payments.

Right, but it does not say they will scam you $50 if the funds don’t go through. That is fraud.

We have looked into it and we can see that you managed to get in touch with the Koodo Expert Messaging team in the meantime.

There is indeed a NSF fee in case of a declined payment when on a pre-authorized bank payment. The information is also mentioned on the monthly bill under Additional info after the usage details.

At no point when I set up pre-authorized payments was I informed that a failed payment would automatically trigger a $50 fee. That lack of disclosure is misleading.

I repeatedly requested a phone callback to discuss this issue, but Koodo only responded with word salad messages insisting it could only be handled over chat. I spent over 3 hours in chat going in circles with no resolution.

This is unacceptable customer service and highlights why people should be cautious when trusting Koodo with billing.

If you want to get directly to a rep callback, when speaking in Koodo assist, say that you want to cancel

This experience highlights how poor Koodo’s customer service has become: scripted responses, word salad, and making customers jump through hoops just to speak to a human about a billing issue.

If this is how they treat existing customers, people should think twice before signing up.

Koodo clearly hasn’t read the thread.

I spent over 3 hours in chat, repeatedly requested a phone callback, was ignored, and only got a callback scheduled after ridiculous back-and-forth and being told “chat only.”

Telling me to “check their response” shows a complete disregard for the actual experience I’ve had, and highlights exactly why their customer service is failing.

Hi  I cant get a call back set up for billing issue & website is not working properly.   The assist is not working.

Hi Flo

The chat assist is not recognizing my phone number & going in circles to get a call back set up.

I have stream services only & it's a billing issue with pre auth. My end looks good so it's on koodo end.  How can I speak with a rep please?
