Why does Koodo make it so difficult to contact customer service? It’s unacceptable. Koodo’s chat is completely useless, and their AI is garbage and just goes in circles. It's very frustrating and annoying. I guess I know why the internet is so cheap, you get what you pay for. Koodo’s online account management is very basic, you can’t view your internet usage, or any of the equipment or anything else. You can only pay by credit card, and that’s just wrong. Koodo’s billing is complete garbage.  If you have a VOIP home phone, you can’t use it with Koodo because their router only supports two slots, the modem and the Ethernet cable for the computer. Epic failure. Customer service has long wait times, if you try and call. Overall, I’m not impressed. I’ll probably just cancel my account in the coming months and look for a different provider.  Honestly, it’s not worth the time or money. Tech support can also be useless. 🙄

Hey,

Check your email for Koodo Internet activation details; they’re sent there, not in Self Serve. Usage isn’t tracked online; it’s a basic subscription charged every 30 days to your card (no other options). For VOIP, connect via the router’s Ethernet ports (it has multiple, not just two). If activation’s pending, I can flag a rep for you to check status. What exactly needs fixing first?

Hi,

Here are some pictures of Koodo’s equipment. As you can clearly see, there is only one slot for the modem and only two slots for the router. So, I’m not sure why I was told something different. Clearly, Koodo has no idea what they are talking about or what they are doing, and honestly Koodo should be embarrassed by all this nonsense. SMH. I’ll be cancelling my internet very soon as I don’t have time for this, and I won't waste anymore of my time “trying to get a rep”.

I guess you have the DM1000 so that would indeed be the case unfortunately. It seems you’ve made up your mind with the reasons that you’ve provided, but if two ethernet ports on the router isn’t enough, an ethernet expansion/splitter adapter should work to allow you to connect the wired devices you require.

I’m trying to cancel my internet, and Koodo’s wait times are just horrible. What a complete waste of time and joke this is,
