I signed up for the January 1st promotion.

60gb for $30/mo ($10 Bill credit for 24 months, 60gb Can/US/Mex for $30 per month when you join Koodo)

I didn’t receive the confirmation email with the contract details until Jan 2nd late morning.  Now it states that my bill will be $50 ($40 after autopay), not $30, it doesn’t show the $10 credit for 24 months.  Did i somehow miss this promotion because I didn’t receive the confirmation email until after the promotion was over?

 

My account isn’t fully active yet as I requested a physical SIM card so maybe that is why, but I thought my contract should reflect this promo. 

 

Am I missing something?

No, I haven’t as I just signed up yesterday.  I just thought it was odd that it doesn’t show that discount on the contract or under my plan details anywhere. 

Some type of credits doesn't show up on contract though. I would recommend you wait for the 1st bill and download the PDF version of it to see if that monthly credit is on it. As well, keep all promotion email/text that you had just in case.

The confirmation email timing shouldn’t affect your promo eligibility; what matters is your signup date (January 1st). Since your account isn’t fully active yet with the physical SIM pending, the billing system may not be reflecting the promotion correctly. Check your Self Serve under “Plan Details” or “Manage Plan” once your SIM activates to verify the $10 monthly credit shows up; if it’s still missing after activation, you’ll need account access to investigate the discrepancy.

I do have access to my account now.  Under “plan details” or “manage plan” it still doesn’t show the $10 credit for 24 months.  I’m assuming when I get and activate my SIM it won’t change as it already shows my contract without it.

The $10 credit (if you had) doesn't show there. 

Have you received the first bill and the detail PDF bill from Koodo yet?

Hi ​@highwirefixer, we can confirm the $10 credit for 24 months is active for your account, you will see it starting with your first bill.

I tried adding this promo to my existing account and it wouldn’t let me add it. Was it only for new accounts?

@lanemeyer Correct it is for new activations. You’d have to port out and port back in to the new line if you wanted to keep your current number.
