Incorrectly charged for text message to US

Got charged for sending a text message to a US number but I have nothing in my messages at that time/date and I never use SMS for US numbers so I’m thinking it’s an error and would like a credit for the charge.

The message was sent on Oct 27 at 12:03am

I’ll be very honest, it’s very rare that an outgoing call/text gets reported wrong.

As well, have you confirmed it’s indeed for an outgoing text to a us number and not a charge from something else?

Maybe there’s a text in your deleted box, a text to a contact who’s number you’ve entered wrong, etc?

Thanks for the help Allan.

It is for sure an outgoing text to a US number as it shows up that way with the number in my usage details.

Digging into it more though, it looks like it was from a restaurant reservation service Toast and I did respond to it to confirm the reservation. Turns out it was a US number (and company) so not surprised.

Lesson learned! Thanks again for the help!

You can always try to dispute the charge saying it was a mistake.
