Incorrect roaming charges for Voice Mail

Hi Team & Everyone

I am roaming outside of Canada and I don’t use the voice call or data at all. The Phone is on airplane mode but I am getting calls and recordings to my voice mail which has cost me 80 dollars for this Month.

Please advise how to disable voice mail completely when I am roaming either from my device or from my account and also how to refund this money or cancel as I have not accessed these voice mails yet

Thanks

Are you using an iPhone? If so, it is likely due to Live Voicemail, since it picks up the call and it is considered a roaming charge. You can click this link for instructions to turn off the feature.

Hi @aeltahir_mtl

We have looked into it and according to the usage and PDF bill details, we see there was usage for outgoing text messages, data or calls that triggered the charges. We recommend downloading the PDF bill in and checking the usage section in self serve.

We recommend checking this article for more about how to prevent unwanted roaming charges and also follow the suggestion shared by MilkyWay when it comes to the voicemail.
