Hi, I switched carriers from Koodo to Telus on Jan 3, 2026 however my last bill indicates a bill for Jan 3 to Feb 2.

I already have a bill for Telus, could you take a look at this.

Thanks,
Byron

Hi there @byronlin  We verified and noticed that the cancelation was one day after the bill cycle started. As the number was cancelled before the bill cycle end, you will receive the reimbursement for the on your next invoice. The adjustment is for the days starting from the moment of cancelation and up until the last day of the bill cycle.

Your final Koodo bill covering Jan 3 to Feb 2 after porting out on Jan 3 is likely a prorated final bill; Koodo charges for the partial service period up to the port-out date, plus the next full cycle in advance (common with their billing).
Log into Self Serve to download the detailed PDF bill (pages 3-4 show exact charges and dates). That'll confirm if it's just proration or something off.
Porting to Telus doesn't cancel Koodo billing automatically; you still owe for service used till the port completes (SMS should've confirmed success). If the bill looks wrong after checking the PDF, reply with those details or a screenshot (redact personal info). Also the bill might be different to the amount owed.

Thanks Darius,

I will wait for the next invoice before paying the final amount.

@byronlin  As the current amount is due this month, it is recommend to make a payment before the due date. Once the next invoice is generated, you will receive the reimbursement cheque for the adjusted amount.
