I set up pay in installments

I set up pay in installments and was approved,  but now that I've made the first payment the information is not showing on my account and im freaking out. 

Was I supposed to go through the link instead of paying the way I usually do? 

Did I di something wrong? 

I can't afford to have my phone cut off!

Take a breath; you likely did nothing wrong. Payment arrangements can take time to process and display in Self Serve, so your payment showing up later is normal.

Here’s what matters: payment arrangements protect your account from disconnection as long as you stick to the agreed dates. Once Koodo receives your payment arrangement online, your service stays active. The display lag in Self Serve is just a backend sync issue, not a sign something went sideways.

A couple of clarifications:

On the payment method: you don’t need a special link. When you set up “Pay in installments,” you’re creating an agreement with Koodo to split your balance across up to 3 payment dates. How you physically submit each payment (credit card, debit, bank transfer) doesn’t matter; what matters is hitting those agreed dates.

What you need to know going forward:

  • Keep making payments on the dates you agreed to
  • - Your service won’t be cut off as long as you follow the arrangement
  • - If you miss a payment date, that’s when you’d be at risk

One heads-up: payment arrangements don’t erase late fees or protect your credit rating if payments were already overdue when you set this up. But the arrangement itself keeps your service running.

If your first payment clears and still isn’t showing in Self Serve after a few business days, log back in and verify the arrangement is listed under your billing section. If it vanishes or shows as unpaid despite going through, that’s when you’d want to reach out; but most of the time it’s just a display delay.

Can you please let us know when you did you make the  payment and which payment method you used?

Payments made via online banking take a few business days to be posted.
