I need to dispute a roaming charge

I was in the US from Jan 6-19. My data and roaming were turned off for the duration of my time out of Canada. My January bill had a $12.00 roaming charge on January 14.

Please have a rep reverse this charge

Hi there @Alison Ferguson

We have taken a look into your account, and we can confirm that on the 14th, there was an SMS sent and that is what triggered Easy roam.

Hope this helped.

When you went into self-serve, check the bill and check usage to see why they charged you easyroam fee for that day? Was there any tiny data usage in the data usage on that certain date? If it was a tiny amount, they should reverse the fee for you.

I assumed you didn't send text or make/receive call?

No, I did not send a text or make/receive a call on the day the roaming fee was charged

The bill does not show a number where the SMS was sent. The bill lists the alleged SMS sent at 9:26pm to :

ER/VC

ROAM/VOY USA

What does this mean? What is this number? What timezone is the charge listed?

When you login to your serve and look at the usage screen, it should show the text sent for that day
