I just signed up for a BYOD postpaid plan, but cannot figure out where to enter a referral code

I have a temporary number, have not yet ported over my number, and have not yet activated my esim on my phone. I have a referral code from a friend but don’t know where I enter it. All I can find is that I need to do it before ‘activation’, but I’m not sure where I do that and how. Could someone please help me out?

I guess this is for future reference, but this explains how/where you would do so.

Eh, the code should be used at the time of activation of the Koodo service. As of now, if you haven't used it, it is already late.

Thanks - I was afraid of that. There wasn’t a spot for me to enter it while picking the plan, and now I have a self-serve account but not yet an activated service so I was hoping there was still a time/spot I could do that, but guess not.
