Hi there,

When you download your pdf bill what does it say? Is the plan supposed to be $28 before or after taxes?

The slight difference may also be because of a partial monthly plan charge. I would check for this. It is normal to have this charge when you switch plans / sign up to a company.

Did you setup pre-authrorised payment via a bank account or a credit card? It can only be bank account to receive the credit - it wont work for a credit card.

If it was not setup prior to the billing cycle date then you would also not receive the credit. Did you set it up before the billing cycle date?

Based on promotions active just before and during the weekend ending February 2, 2026, Koodo ran a "5G Flash Sale" offering 25% off their 5G plans for new customers. These plans required pre-authorized billing (autopay) to receive the discounted rates.

Here are the key Koodo plans available during that period (ending Feb 2, 2026):

5G Postpaid Plans (Flash Sale - 25% Off)

The 5G Flash Sale included various plans with discounted monthly rates:

  • $23.75/month for 10GB 5G Data, Unlimited Canada-wide minutes & International SMS, + 1 Free Perk.
  • $27.50/month for 60GB 5G Data, Unlimited Canada-wide minutes & International SMS, + 1 Free Perk.

Yup I recall the plans, the main thing though is when did you setup autopay and did you do it correctly.

If you did not set it up with a bank account, you don’t receive the discount. If you added auto pay after the billing cycle start date, you won’t receive the discount on this bill but you would get it starting the next.

Hi @mario2013

We have looked into it and we can confirm the  regular cost of the plan for this offer was $50. There was a 25% discount on the  plan if pre-authorized bank payments are enabled, there is another $10 discount.

The first bill is usually higher due to the first bill proration, more info about it can be found here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/your-koodo-bill-after-youve-activated-a-new-account-or-added-a-new-line

We can confirm the discounts were applied on the bill, feel free to check pages 4, 9 and 11 and if you have further questions, please let us know and we will do our best to help!
