I cancelled the service but Kodoo still charged


I have incorrectly been charged following cancellation of my phone plan in August of 2024. I want confirmation that my phone plan has been cancelled.

We have looked into it and based on the notes, we see that you spoke with a rep last time in July 2024 who provided more details about the seasonal hold.

In July, your plan was put on seasonal hold in self serve.

With the seasonal hold, the monthly charge for the seasonal hold plan will continue to apply and you can resume the plan later with the same number. More about the seasonal hold can be found here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/keeping-your-account-open-when-travelling

To request the services cancelation, this can be completed over the phone or over social media in case you are unable to schedule a call back.

I have already cancelled my phone plan over the phone. Koodo is at fault for not actually terminating the contract, Please confirm acknowledgment of this mistake and of subscription cancellation at no cost.

We understand where you are coming from, however as per the account notes, we don’t see any cancelation request over the phone in July or August 2024.

Your account is currently on Seasonal hold.

To request the cancelation of the services, please reach out to us on social media using the link we shared in the above reply.

The Koodo rep is saying you didnt cancel.  You only asked for a seasonal hold.

You need to contact koodo to cancel

You are incorrect and I have no social media accounts. Please resolve the issue now in my favour, either through this web portal or e-mail.
