i cancelled in December but still getting billed for Jan-Feb

I cancelled my Koodo account on December 10th but just received another bill for Jan-Feb billing cycle.   The phone is definitely disconnected and did the cancellation with Koodo rep in December.

Hi there,

In the bill does it show a balance owing or a negative balance? If a negative balance, that is a credit that will be refunded to you.

If a positive balance, can you login to self serve, download the PDF bill, and see the details of the charges. It will be active for 90 days after cancelling. When you do, what does it show?

It shows balance owing and it’s the full month amount.  And it took out of my account recently.   No information saying it’s cancelled or anything

hm, did you port the number out of koodo or did you setup a callback and have a rep cancel the account? Did they schedule the cancellation or was it performed straight away? You should also have received an email outlining the cancellation date of the service.

It’s normal to receive a bill after cancelling to square away any remaining balances. However, if it seems like the service is still active that’s a bigger issue.
