I am being charged for a phone I did not want

I was contacted by a Koodo representative.  He offered a 30% discount on my current account an as a promotion, I was to receive a phone.  It was supposed to be a samsung Galaxy but I received an Iphone 17 a couple days later.  It was supposed to be free.  I just got my bill and it shows my monthly charges to be over $500/month.  I don’t know what a tab plus upgrade is.  At no time during my conversation was I asked for any personal info(pin, card number...)  I did not even want another phone.  What do I do now?

Hi there,

to confirm, were you ever reached out to again by the rep or was it just the one time interaction? When you check the charges in self serve, what were the charges exactly for if it is $500 per month?

What was your plan price before you agreed to this promotion?

This may be typo?  Could it be $50/mo including the tab charge?
