Huge increase in bill

Why is it my bill increased + 23% since January? Seems like an awful lot. Very disappointed with Koodo.

Hi there,

When you download the pdf bill from the start of the price increase and the one before the increase, what seems to have changed? Did the plans price increase or did a credit expire that was there previously? As this would explain the price change.

Sounds like you had an older low price point plan. Koodo’s price increases have varied from $3-7/month. Most carriers have been increasing price points on the lowest priced plans for quite some time now. What’s the amount increased by?

Was $95.20 + $22.62 = $117.82….. over 23% increase

I can understand $3-7 bucks but $22.62 is excessive.

Actually I have 2 phones $40 + $45  =  $85.00 + tax $95.20

So that would be about $11.31 for each phone

So sounds roughly like a $10+tax increase for each which is pretty standard for a plan increase (+$5/$7/$10 are usuals)

I would however double check in your self account to see if there are any better plans available for you to switch to. Quite often there are better options available!
