I over paid my balance and switched phone companies. I have a remaining balance which I would like to get back. Now the computer is too stupid to understand the request. So how do I speak with an actual human? Or how do I request my money back? 

Did you port your number to your new provider? If so, your account will be canceled automatically, then they will generate a final bill including any charges or credit.  
 

If you didn’t port your number out, then you need to contact Koodo to cancel your account. Then they will generate final bill. 
 

Either way you can access your self serve for 90days, so you can check any additional credit or charge on your account.
