I am currently abroad and was not aware of koodos roaming charges. I was charged $16 for switching off airplane mode for 5 seconds which I think is unfair and unjust. I would like to speak to someone for a refund but cannot do a callback due to being abroad and can’t source an email address or WhatsApp alternative.

Well, we can’t say it is unfair, the phone can’t turn on on its own.

Anyway, it all depends on how much data was consumed or what happened during the “5s”. Can you check your usage to see how much data was consumed? if it was just a tiny amount, they might be able to help. This link might help
