Easy room charges

Hi, 

I got the 3-day Easy Roam Perk INTL. During a trip to Dominican Republic, I used my phone within those 3 24hr period but was charged $18 for using my phone on my last day.
According to my bill, I used my phone 
Day 1- Jan 21st 07:07PM
Day2- Jan 22nd 12:35PM
Day 3- Jan 23rd 12:33PM
Day 4 ($18 charge)- Jan 28th 08:45 AM

However, I am pretty sure the 24hr period starting the 27th at 12:33PM should end the 23rd at 12:33PM… The call made at 08:45 AM was almost 4hrs before the end of that 24hr window on my third day.

Easy Roam is only valid until 11:59 pm in the time zone you are travelling. You only have the 3-day add-on and it definitely went over when you used it on January 28, which is why it was triggered and you see the charge on your bill. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/easy-roam

    My fat fingers got the date wrong.

    Day 1- Jan 21st 07:07PM
    Day2- Jan 22nd 12:35PM
    Day 3- Jan 27th 12:33PM
    Day 4 ($18 charge)- Jan 28th 08:45 AM

    But since it is valid until 11h59 instead of a 24hr period i guess it doesn’t change anything anyway.

      I want to use the easy roam travel pass for the dominican for 7 days. 

      Here’s the thing.  If the wifi is good at the resort I won’t need it.  But it seems I have to set it up (text) before I get there.

      If I don’t use it and only wifi when there will I be charged the $60?

      You can add the travel pass before traveling as the charge will only incur if you start using the service.

       

      If no usage is made, the travel pass fee shouldn’t be charged.

        I want to strongly emphasize that if you send any sms, use any talk, or leak any data, even if accidental, then you will be charged roaming.  And if you have the Roaming pass added, you will be charged the roaming pass
