Disputing Roaming Charges

Hello:

I have a roaming charge on my bill.  May I please have this reversed.

I was using my travel esim and travel data plan

When you traveled outside of Canada, did you receive SMS from Koodo that roaming is active on your device?

I understand that you’re using a different SIM, but sometimes the phone—or the user—may inadvertently use the Koodo SIM for certain tasks. I recommend checking your Koodo data and SMS usage to see why Koodo believes they can charge you.

Let me flag a rep for you.

To avoid this from happening again, make sure to manually select your network to Koodo, so that your phone does not automatically connect to a nearby U.S. cellular tower. You will need to do this every time you restart your phone.

Can you please confirm the last two digits of the phone number in question?

There are two accounts that have the roaming charges 

xx90 and xx78

Both numbers had travel esims and travel data plans

Thank you for confirming!

 

We have looked into it and for line ending in *78, we see the charge was triggered by a call (the details can be checked on page 7 of the PDF bill),  and for the other line, there were 2 outgoing text message, we recommend checking the usage section in self serve.
