Connection fee

Hello,  I upgraded my phone through you, and was informed at the time, that there would be no extra charges, but now there is a connection fee added.

My bill is almost 3 times normal. 

Would really appreciate any assistance on this,

Just found out, that I should get a credit back on my 3rd bill.

Problem solved.

Love my new phone.

Check your detailed PDF bill in Self Serve (pages 3-4) to see the connection fee breakdown; it often applies to phone upgrades done over the phone or in-store, even if not mentioned. Online upgrades skip the usual $80 fee.

First bill after upgrade is prorated (partial + full month), which can triple it.

The upgrade was “over the phone”, but the call was due to an issue that needed phone support to rectify.

I was offered this as a promo.

I did ask at the time if there were any charges at all for this change, and was informed that there were none. 

The original problem was fixed, and I am happy with the professional, and courteous service I received.

Oddly enough the problem was that I had problems with my online account.

If you upgrade or activate a new line with a rep, the system automatically charged you a connection fee. Typically if there is a promotion, they will refund it by providing credit. Did you recall the rep offered something like that?

As well if possible can you post a snapshot of the page 3 and 4 of the pdf bill in self-service? Hide all personal information before posting please
