I also assumed you ordered online. If so, have you received any order approval from them? If not, send an email to their webstore at koodo.webstore@koodomobile.com to ask for the cancellation of one order.
I want the numbers to be independent - i got an email saying to make it one account cause same name and home address. is this true.

If you want the 2 numbers to be independent you need to use different email addresses.
Also shouldnt the 2nd number be under the name of the other individual?
