Charges for US text messaging from Canada

We have recently started being charged for US texting from Canada? Why?

Which plan are you on? Did it have international SMS/MMS messaging or just Canada-wide messaging?

If possible, could you post a snapshot of your current plan here? Also, could you post a snapshot of where you saw they charged your fee for international SMS? (please hide all personal information before posting ).

Hello @Kbal4! Your old plan needed the Unlimited International SMS perk to be activated in order to include free SMS to the U.S. Since this perk was not activated on your line, text messages sent to the U.S. were charged. We can see that you changed your plan in the meantime and we can confirm that this new plan does include unlimited international SMS. All plan details can also be seen in Self Serve.
