I was recently in Mexico and activated roaming only on the first day: Nov 11.  After this first day I turned off the option to use data while roaming and turned off my mobile serivces (I turned it back on when I landed back in Toronto).

but my bill has also charged me on Nov 12 and Nov 15. I did not use data here, I was on the resort Wifi with data off on my phone.

Why am I billed for the other two days. I cannot request a callback, it wont let me talk to someone. so here I post.

Easy Roam can trigger if your phone connects to a foreign network and receives a text, even with data roaming off. Background usage or an incoming call can also activate it. Check your detailed usage in Self Serve to pinpoint the exact triggers. You can also review how Easy Roam works here: koodomobile.com/en/help/easy-roam

It was most likely triggered by some usage of data or maybe your voicemail. While you're outside the country on Wi-Fi.

I suggest you read through that document so that it doesn't happen again.

Hi there @Chaos_scorpio We verified the usage during the disputed period and found that Easy Roam was triggered by airtime usage. The usage was 2 answered calls on Nov 12 and 1 answered call on the 15’th of November.

You can check the detailed view of the invoice by downloading it as PDF

If you want to further investigate, feel free to send us a private message over Social Media, through the links at the bottom right of this page or schedule a callback through our Koodo Assist

Denying a call will count as answering a call if you use the Live Voicemail feature from Apple.

If callback isn’t available, feel free to send them a private message over Social Media, through the links at the bottom right of this page.

If you login to your self serve and check your Usage.  What phones numbers are indicated as the ones that triggered Easy Roam?  Do you recognize these numbers?

Are these the numbers that was an answered Whatsapp call?  If so, you need to check your whatsapp settings as you may have given whatsapp your phone access.
