Hello- I was in Canada for just one month in August 2024, and set up a Koodo plan for my time there. I didn’t make an selfserve account while there and assumed I could make it when I left the country and needed to cancel my plan. However, because to register a self serve account, you need to receive a text message, I can’t receive the text and therefore can’t create a self serve account. All I want to do is cancel my plan as they are charging me every month, but it seems there is not other way to do it. I’ve sent emails but never receive a reply.

We would recommend scheduling a call-back to your Koodo number using the Koodo Assist and our over the phone agents can assist with your request. 


For cancellation, you would have to talk to a rep directly. Self-serve access itself didn’t have the ability to cancel though. If you are overseas, you could contact Koodo directly by Facebook messaging. Links are below at the bottom of this forum webpage.


@Liah  As you have no access to the Self Serve account and you cannot create one, it would not be possible to authenticate the account over Social Media.  In order to find a better way to assist, we have sent you a private message requesting more details in regards to the situation.
