Cancelling my Koodo Home Internet Subscription

Hello,

I have been experiencing issues reaching out to Koodo customer service to cancel my home internet subscription. I have reached out multiple times for an extended period of time for them to not answer my call. I would appreciate it if someone can reach out to me so that I can cancel my subscription immediately. Also I have 2 questions: 

  1. Will I be refunded for the remaining days left on my billing cycle? 
  2. How do I return the hardware equipment provided by you?

Log into Koodo Self Serve and follow the steps to cancel your home internet at www.koodomobile.com/en/help/how-do-i-cancel-my-koodo-internet-subscription. They’ll walk you through termination, prorated refunds for unused days, and returning the modem with a shipping label.

The self serve page directs me to contact 1-855-350-1170 to cancel home internet, but I have been put on hold for hours. I tried multiple times and it’s becoming frustrating that no one answers the call

Hi ​@Internet User, we’re sorry to hear you’ve had a hard time getting in touch with the Internet team. We can request a cancellation for you, would you like it to come into effect immediately or at a later date? 

Also, in case the Internet team needs to reach you can they use the *56 number on your account?

Ok ​@Internet User, I’ve submitted the request. Once the cancellation has been processed, you should receive a confirmation email with equipment return instructions. You can also find the return instructions here.
