Can't Log in

Hello,

I am experiencing difficulties logging into my Koodo account. I would like to pay my phone bill, but I am unable to do so because I keep receiving the following error message: “Your email and/or password don't match our records. Retry or reset your password. Your account may be temporarily locked after too many login attempts.”

I have already reset my password, cleared my cache and browser history, and attempted to log in using a private window in Firefox, but none of these steps have resolved the issue. I have never encountered this problem before, as I regularly pay my Koodo bills using both my iMac and laptop.

Could you please advise what the issue is and assist me in regaining access to my account? I need help urgently to ensure my bill is paid on time.

Hi there,

This seems to be an ongoing issue as of late. To confirm, are you a prepaid or postpaid customer?

Seems the problem has mostly been affecting prepaid but has spread also to some postpaid customers. Once you answer I will flag a rep to assist with the issue.

I am postpaid customer, since 2014.

Can you please let us know if this happens on every browser you try?

Are you using a mobile device to log in or  a desktop/laptop?

Awesome thank you for confirming. As you have a postpaid account and have run through all the other troubleshooting steps and that this is an ongoing issue with others, I will flag a rep to take a look.

Just make sure you’re logged into the community using your self serve credentials and they can see everything they need. 🙂

I tried to resolve the problem on both Firefox and Google Chrome with no luck. I using my 2019, Intel IMac. Never had this issue before.

If not logged in with your SS account (using the "Login using your Koodo Self Serve" option), maybe share the last 4 digits of your number and partial e-mail address to the rep can find your account. 

Also,  ensure no VPN are active. This might also cause issues logging in.

There are no VPN’s on my computer.

In the meantime, to ensure your bill gets paid on time, you can dial *611 from your Koodo phone and use the automated system to pay by credit card

To pay over the phone using Interactive Voice Response (IVR), follow the steps below:

  1. Dial *611 from your phone to use our automated phone system
  2. Press 3 (Credit card and other payment options) when prompted.
  3. Press 1 (To make a credit card/Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit card payment) when prompted, and follow the instructions.

Hi,

try to log in using Koodo’s mobile service (if you do have data available), that’s the only way which works for me right now.  Using home internet connection doesn’t work for days now, regardless of a device or browser.

p.s. I’m a postpaid customer

I just spoke with customer service, and they are currently working on my case. Unfortunately, the Koodo Self Serve login page is experiencing technical issues, which explains why I was unable to access my account.

The representative I spoke with advised me to wait until Monday to log in again using either my previous or new password. Thanks to her assistance, I was able to make my payment today.
