I was home in Canada for the holidays and got a prepaid SIM for my time there. Before I left, I got a notification that my plan had been renewed automatically. I'm back in Germany now and can't schedule a call back since I have no coverage and Koodo doesn't do international calls. I also don't recall creating a self-serve account (there seems to be no account associated with my email) and I can't create one now since I can't go through the text verification process from over seas. Koodo Assist and the social media reps have been absolutely useless. I was told to block the payments to Koodo by calling my bank. Seems ridiculous that Koodo can't just cancel the plan THEY are charging me for. Is there anyone I can speak to who can help me cancel the auto-renewal or just anything else I can do? I was told by the person who sold it to me that I would only be charged for one month unless I top it up myself, which hasn't been the case, so I feel like I'm getting scammed.

How did you activate prepaid SIM card? Did you do it yourself or someone did it for you as pre-authorized payment needs self-serve access. You could also try to regain access to the self-serve if you know the email address when you register with Koodo.
Prepaid support had limited access over the forum and social media, unfortunately. Blocking payment via credit card might be a good option if you can’t schedule a call back from them.
