Billing problems


Koodo is driving me crazy. On my cell phone I get messages saying that I have not paid my bills for, I think, about 4 months. When I log in to self serve on my laptop it tells me that I am all paid up. (I have my bills charged automatically to my credit card.) The message on my phone says that if I do not pay by April 5, 2025 I will be disconnected. So what am I supposed to do?  If I get disconnected for non-payment that will reduce my credit score. If that occurs I am done with Koodo for good. Is it possible that the warnings I am getting on my cell phone are fake? Please help me.

That is weird, where is the notification SMS coming from? was it from a “short code” or an actual number?

If possible, can you post a snapshot of it here? (Hide all personal information before posting please)I wonder if the SMS is a scam trying to take your money from credit card.


Hi Dinh. The text message said this: We’d like to ensure you stay connected. Your balance is $184.12, with $184.12 past due. Please ensure your past due is paid and received by your suspension date of 05 April 2025. Please make a payment as soon as possible at https://paymybill.koodo.com/r/akk/2uQ3t4GMhZMSi8O/ea36  I pay monthly by preauthorized payment and have not missed a payment. Also, I have received a similar notice in previous months - the string of letters and numbers after akk/ is different each time. This most recent notice seems to have come from 5907, Whatever that is! Should I ignore such messages or is this a real koodo message?
