I was charged in August for 2 days, Sept. for 1 day and Nov. for 1 day. I have not left Canada this year and data roaming is turned off. Could you please refund me the total that was incorrectly billed.

Typically, you can only dispute bill within 30 day from the date you received the bill. I am not sure if you can take money back for August and Sept. Let me flag a rep to look in Nov’s bill.

To avoid similar issue in the future, if you travel near US border, turn off automatic carrier selection in settings. Manually select Koodo will help.

Hi @MaddyG, like Dinh mentioned, charges can be disputed within 30 days of the bill being issued. We can make an exception of up to 90 days for roaming charges. The August and September charges are outside of that time limit. We’ve checked the November charge and as it was accidental roaming we have added a credit to your account, you can check it out in your self-serve.

To avoid future charges please make sure that the data roaming is off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.

For more details on how to prevent accidental roaming charges, you can check out this article.

I appreciate you crediting Novembers charge. For your reference ALL of these charges took place on while on Vancouver Island with data roaming turned OFF. I will be sure to turn on manual connection to Koodo services only but you not refunding the accidental charges kinda sucks.
