What happens to a final bill credit which is below $5 after cancellation. Will Koodo send out a check or credit the CC with pre-authorized payment?

An automatic refund will not be issued for a credit balance under $5, however, you can schedule a call back with the virtual assist https://koo.do/Chat so that our Payment department can further assist.
Don’t understand the logic behind this policy. When Koodo owes former customers’ money, Koodo should refund the money regardless of the amounts!! Would Koodo charge the customers the balance if it is less than $5 after the customer cancels the service?
