We left and returned to Koodo last year, and I’ve just discovered that every month we’ve been back we’re being charged for the Stream+ service, but we had no idea we had it and never activated it, how do I get my money back for all those months of service we didn’t authorize?

Oh that might be hard to prove…. how come you didn’t notice the huge discrepancy on your invoice? Did you cancel it now so you won’t be charged again?

Prove?  I never activated it, why would I have it?  It was not on my bill, I had to navigate the website to even see it was there.  It only showed up as a charge on my CC statement.

Looking at my account history it is not even mentioned.  It is not on my monthly bill and I have received no other record of that charge.

Hi @Johnster

For the Stream+ subscription, it’s required to enter the credit card details, otherwise it not possible to sign up for it. Then the subscription comes out automatically from your bill each month. Once signed up, you get the activation emails to activate the streaming service or they can be activated in Self serve under Subscriptions.

Apparently we are at fault.  My wife activated Prime and Netflix through it the day we returned to Koodo and I guess because we never activated the Disney+ sub, it still shows as “Activate Now”.   It was a very eventful day.   I do think though that I should be getting some kind of invoice for it, as stated previously, it is not on my monthly bill and if I hadn’t seen it on my CC I wouldn’t have any notice of it at all.

Thanks for confirming!

The Stream+ bundle is a subscription-based service, for which the payment comes out monthly directly from your credit card, regarldess of the usage made, unless it’s canceled from Self serve.

There isn’t a bill issued for Stream+, but a receipt that can be downloaded in self serve.
