is there a discount available on my current accounts if I change from credit card billing to preauthorized payments?

Best answer by Dinh

Not really. Since you are on a preauthorized payment with a credit card, did you receive any email from Koodo saying your discount would stop unless you switch?

If you didn’t receive any emails, you were likely on an older plan. Can you share the detail of your plan? Hide all personal information before posting please.

Yep, there's definitely a discount available! If you switch from credit card billing to preauthorized payments (bank account), you'll get the auto-pay discount.

Here's the thing though; the discount amount depends on your plan. Most eligible plans offer up to $10 per month, though some offer $5. If you have multiple lines on your account, you get the discount for each eligible line.

One heads-up: if you set this up mid-billing cycle, the discount won't show on your current bill. It kicks in on your next billing cycle. So if you just switched, check your next bill and you should see the credit applied.

Also, just so you know; the auto-pay discount is only available on eligible Canada Wide Plans, not Starter Plans.

For the full details on setting it up, check out the auto-pay discount article at koodomobile.com/en/help/auto-pay-discount.

Does your plan qualify for the $10 discount, or are you on a different tier?
