Question

Automatic payment failed

I recently changed my auto payments to debit.  I accidentally emptied the account from which the money was withdrawn from.  And of course the withdrawal bounced and my bank charged an NSF fee.  My credit card company cancelled the payment.  I wanted to pay the charge plus any charges that Koodo will charge because of payment that didn't go through.

How long will I have to wait to get ahold of Koodo?  I can't pay online as it is still showing as paid.  I'd prefer to get it paid up asap.

Also, how do you go about calling as I can't find a number or easy way to?

Hello.  I actually did manage to talk to a rep right away.  I can't do much until the next billing as it's showing paid.  They will call me back on the billing date.

I would suggest you try to contact Koodo again once you receive the bill and Koodo’s NSF fee ($50). Ask if they can waive (or reduce) it, since it was an unintentional mistake.

You can manually pay via online banking.

THis way you dont have to wait for Koodo to register the failed payment.

Regaring Koodo NSF fee, it will appear on your next bill.

When I talked to them on the phone about it they actually offered to take that charge off, which was nice of them.  They have scheduled a callback for me on the next billing date.

I just went back online into my account and I was fortunately able to pay my current bill with my credit card as it finally processed the failed payment.

You are lucky you were able to schedule a call back. Koodo decided to suck and not offer phone calls and are now doing just chat which is not working well.
