am on seasonal hold but charged full monthly rate

I am on seasonal hold but am charged full monthly plan. Stupid AI doesn’t understand. Am travelling in a region I can’t have any cell reception so can’t request call back. What to do?

Hello ​@Mrembo  We verified the account and the Seasonal Hold was activated after the January invoice was released. The prorated adjustment for the price difference will be applied on the next invoice after the change. In this case, on the February invoice.

Hi there,

is this reflected when you check the full pdf bill? When you check self serve does it show you on a seasonal hold or does it show a plan?

If you’re paying off a device and just read the overview, the combined price of the $30 plus tab might be the same as the plan cost. I suggest you download the full PDF bill and check and see if it charged you seasonal hold as it usually contains a lot of extra details.

I checked and I am on seasonal hold but my next bill shows the full amount. i am on seasonal hold every winter so i thinkI know what I am doing. I am willing to see what happens next month but I switched off pre authorized payments

I am glad you do know what you’re doing, however, it does not hurt to check. You would be surprised the small mistakes that come up on here, so just covering the basics.

If the payment isn’t made for the bill then you will receive a late payment fee and it will negatively effect your credit, so it’s better to get to the bottom of this than to wait.

If self serve says you’re on a seasonal hold and your PDF bill says you’re being charged for a regular month of service and nothing else, then clearly there is a mistake. I will flag a rep on here to investigate.

Make sure you’re logged into the community using your self serve credentials and they can take a look.
