Activation Date and SIM Card delivery date and First Bill

While I understand that the billing cycle begins on the activation date, it seems patently unfair to charge from day 1 when the SIM card arrived on day 12.

3-5 days within same province seems right but 12 with no service.  Any thoughts on how to address with Koodo? I feel that there should be a grace period.  Thanks in advance!

Your best option is to send Koodo a pm via Facebook Messenger or a dm via Twitter to get the days you were charged without having the SIM card/service credited back to you.

There are delays with Canada Post as they are dealing with the influx of packages during the holiday season. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/shipping-and-delivery

As rikkster already mentioned, you may reach out to a Koodo rep by scheduling a callback through Koodo Assist to another number or send a message to one of the social media platforms.

Thanks rikkster and Milkyway for your assistance with this!

Happy Holidays!

Just keep in mind that being credited this amount will only be allowed on exceptional circumstances as it is clearly stated that you will get charged once the product is shipped.

Understood.  Not expecting the full 15-16 days but feel that that period is excessive.  Otherwise, they should send these items via trackable service and not regular Canada Post.

Believe it or not, they used to ship them through a courier. Unfortunately, times have changed, as they have resorted to using Canada Post. Hopefully you will receive your SIM card soon.

Looks like the SIM card arrived on day 12 so you should be able to get some form of credit from day 1 to day 12 (edited).
