Accidental roaming charge

I just noticed unexpected roaming charges on my account for the following dates: Nov 30, Dec 2, Dec 3, Dec 4, and Dec 6. I’ve been in Hong Kong during this time and did not intend to use roaming services.

Since it’s already Dec 7 here in Hong Kong but still Dec 6 in Canada, I’m not sure if there will be another charge showing up for today as well.

Could you please look into these accidental charges?

Thanks a lot!

Accidental roaming charges often happen when calls, texts, voicemail checks, or even small data use occur abroad despite data and roaming being off. Since you were in Hong Kong on those dates, charges likely stem from such activity or background data use. If you believe these charges were in error, you can dispute them by contacting Koodo.

I tried to login to Koodo Self service but looks like I can't do so as I'm not using the phone number of Koodo right now while aboard.

Is there any other official way to raise the dispute?

Before filing a dispute, I recommend you check out the information in this link https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/understanding-how-youll-be-charged-while-travelling?

What you  have to do is to find out why Koodo charged you. You could do so by going to your self-serve, check the usage of data/SMS and call for those days. Koodo also used the ER/VC code of a call to denote the time of the event triggering easyroam. Check the timestamp and correlate the usage on either data/SMS/call.
