I recently updated my plan which stated I would get a $10 credit on my bill for autopay. I do not see this credit being applied to my next bill. I am registered for pre-authorized payments via my bank account and not a credit card.

You won’t see the credit until your next bill is generated and will show for future bills going forward.
Have you had a bill come out since registering for auto pay?
