I started my Koodo plan in the middle of November. It’s supposed to be $30 a month for 20 GB for the black Friday deal. I haven’t paid any of my bills yet and I just noticed that I got a bill for $226. I’m only supposed to be charge $30 a month since the middle of November, so why am I being charged so much money? It’s only been five months so I should be charged 5×30 which is $150, not 226. Also, they told me there won’t be any activation fee or anything like that. Also, they told me there won’t be any activation fee or anything like that.May someone from the customer service team please help me out here?

I'm not ready to cancel.

Hi  I wanted to cancel my account in May. But it was cancelled now by a rep. So I cannot use my phone call now. How can I restart my plan for a month? thank you.

Removal of add-0n

 I am having the exact same problem as MrWong and I am unable to resolve it. When I hit confirm removal, an ice-cream shows up telling me service  is unavailable & to try again later.  I’ve tried numerous times since the change and am very frustrated. I’ve also  been unsuccessful in getting  a « call back »  I’ll add I’m of a generation that finds online help very challenging to navigate, so sure would appreciate someone’s help.​​​​​​  Since I updated my plan, I’ve been unable to remove a specific Add On from my previous plan. ($2 250min). Other Add Ons were removed through self-serve, but this stubborn one can’t. I’ve been trying for 1 week now. I get to the screen for Reviewing Changes / Removing: $2 250min, and hit ‘confirm changes’. The result gives me ‘This service is unavailable right now. Please refresh or try again in an hour’. I’ve been trying a couple times a day over the last week.  Any insight? Thanks. —————

esim on galaxy active 2

Hi there - sorry if this has been answered already (I couldn’t find it).  I’ve successfully activated an esim on my lte version of the galaxy active 2 lte watch.  I can make phone calls and receive phone calls, but I cannot send any SMS messages from my watch without my phone present.  The purpose of this is a standalone device for my child who does not own a phone (so no phone will be near by).  Has anyone else got this to work or should I go with another esim from Shaw or someone else?  Thanks

What is the difference between 4G LTE and 4G?

I have an offer to switch my plan - see below. 11 GBs at 4G LTE for $55or30 GBs at 4G for $55 Should I make the switch? Is 4G LTE better or worse than 4G?

Samsung A50

Has anyone been able to use their A50 with Koodo’s data? I have no problem with wifi or making/;receiving calls. I have added all the recommended APN settings, but still no luck. I see this phone is 67% compatible with Koodo, so no sure if the problem is my phone or something else.Any suggestions?

Can't receive text message from certain online services

I just ported my number from another service yesterday. I am unable to log in to certain online services (MyCRA, PayPal, PayBright) that require a 6 digit code to be sent to my phone. I initiate the login but don’t receive the text message. I am able to send and receive text messages from other contacts.

I will be assigned to a collection agency in 6 days

Hello, I have a big issue with koodo right now. I’m a university student from Peru, and when I did an exchange to vancouver, koodo offered me a service, they gave me a sim card but I never used it.I kept receiving emails to activate my account but I blocked so I no longer received more emails from koodo.A few months have passed, and yesterday I received an email that says that I will be assigned to a collection agency if I don’t pay the service. I want to pay but I’m no longer in Canada and I don’t know where the SIM card from koodo is. I try to login but it says that I can’t login with my email and also can’t login with the phone number they gave me. I want to speak with a rep but they don’t make international calls.I really want to solve this problem and pay in order to avoid to be assigned to a collection agency.Can someone please help me? I’m really worried

Received text offering AddTEN or ADD18 for corresponding extra data.  My question is how this reflectsmy current plan and will I have this extra data for as long as I want or will it expire after 2 years?Just want to know if it is as simple as it reads with an extra $3/month for 18G.

Double charged at cancellation

Had to cancel plan to move to a different country, expected to pay remaining tab balance but have two charges on my final bill. I am being charged $462.00 for Tab Debit - Cancellation in addition to $527.90 for Tab Bonus Debit - Cancellation, why is this? Can anyone explain why they expect me to make these two payments?

Koodo Sim Card not working in new phone

I have a  Motorola G7 and am a Koodo customer.  I recently purchased  Motorola G Pure while in the United States through the dealer Boast Mobile.  I put the Sim card from the G7 into the Motorola G Pure and it shows Network locked.  The display shows the unlocked padlock.  I cannot use the phone or text messaging.  Message says cellular network not available for voice calls.

Sending SMS abroad - “Error 8” notification

Hello, I’m currently travelling in Germany and cannot send any SMS and cannot make any calls. I can receive calls and SMS no problem and I do have International Data and Voice roaming enabled on my account. When I attempt to send an SMS, the phone tries for a while and then gives me an “Error 8” notification.I also tried restarting, resetting network settings, switching network providers, removing/adding/removing EasyRoam (I don’t want to use EasyRoam as my usage is low enough to warrant pay-per-use). The exact same thing happened last year already and it took a few callbacks and the Koodo rep resetting certain settings remotely to everything to work. I hope this is not a consistent problem with my account, meaning that everytime I go abroad I will have these issues?Thanks.

Took over a year to get issue resolved, not complete yet!

After about 20+ calls to Koodo over the last 14 months Freddy was the only one out of 20 +  promising agents to call me back. This has been a long an frustrating year +. Having been charged for a phone for the last year for a phone I never received, spending 30+ hours trying to get this resolved. Very frustrated for wasting so much time on the phone and numerous visits to a Koodo kiosk. Government involvement and Court was my only next step I could see, But thank you Fredy for caring enough to get back to me. Hopefully this is the end of it. They say it will take over a month to get my $1200+  refund back. Feeling very disillusioned with Koodo. I'm thinking they should compensate me for time wasted. Almost disappointed I didn't make it to court to get paid for my time. But I know that is wishful thinking. Thanks for making it to the end of my rant

koodo self serve unresponsive

I am on vacation and have my phone on airplane mode and have been using wifi since I don't need to call or text while I am here. All other sites are working and even other parts of the site but I can't get to the login page for self serve. Is there a history of the Koodo site being unreachable from other locations like Cuba? My internet browser just comes back with an error that the server did not respond and times out.  I can't check if my payment for my last bill was received since I can't log in. I get an error message when I get directed there by the chat bot as well.

New SIM worked briefly then stopped

Hey folks, My old SIM stopped working randomly. It was pretty old so I figured it had just lived its life.I got a new one to replace it, activated it and switched them. It worked for about 10 minutes and then suddenly stopped.I can’t phone Koodo to ask because, well, no SIM card. 😉I have two questions: Is there such thing as email support for Koodo? And, does anyone have any idea what might have happened here? Has anyone experienced this?(In case it matters, the phone is a Pixel 6)Thanks!megan

paying off your tab

I finally paid off my Koodo tab on my last phone bill on March 6th 2023. My bill while paying off my tab is $77 (even though Koodo charged me $88 for no reason for the last year 🙄🙃) I have confirmed several times my tab balance is $0 yet Koodo is still saying my bill due for this month on April 6th is $77?? Should it not be $40 something now that my tab is paid off? How would I go about getting them to change this? I refuse to pay them anymore money than I already have.

Data plans not in sync with those i know. Being overcharged.

I know of people spending 45$ a month or less with an approximate 40-55GB data plan.I would like said offers to be sent to my koodo account for reviewing and options offered.It is non cohesive that you offer certain members a 45$ / month fee with a 50GB data plan while i pay roughly the same price for an approximate 10GB of data per month.thank you.
