Hello,

I am traveling in Europe and had put my Koodo account on a seasonal hold while using an e-sim. This has worked well, however, I have been logged out of a number of my accounts which now require verification via SMS message. I have not been able to receive any SMS messages since leaving Canada even though the package I had stated incoming SMS is free. So I’ve switched back to a regular plan with the Unlimited International SMS & MMS perk to try and be able to receive messages but still no luck. 

I’m not sure what’s going on here or how to fix it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 

Have you enable Koodo sim card in the phone? As well, can you check if you had easyroam add-on in your selfserve?

We have checked and we can see the roaming services are provisioned to your account. If you didn’t manage to connect to a network in roaming, we recommend checking the troubleshooting steps in this article  

Please note that the Unlimited International SMS add on covers SMS sent from Canada to international numbers.

Nevertheless, roaming charges are not triggered for incoming text messages. Any other usage will however trigger the roaming charges.
