Hi,

I’ve got a new phone and was trying to migrate all data over. During that it also offered to transfer the e-sim to the new phone although I do have a physical sim card.

I had to do this a few times until finally the migration fully worked but now the e-sim wouldn’t work and the physical sim only shows SOS service in both phones.

Does anyone have a solution?

I did restart the phones both a few times. The number shows as primary, but I can’t get service.

Did you get an eSIM voucher from your nearest Koodo store to transfer over?


no, it was some automatic thing from the phone. Since the merger didn’t work out, the physical one was cancelled and when I started over with transferring the e-sim wasn’t there when I erased the first attempt.

Anyway, I was on the phone with Koodoo and they resolved the issue by adding a new e-sim.

Problem solved, phone works.
