In the interim, I suggest a free voip service, such as Fongo, where you get a Canadian number. You can at least make and receive calls while you’re connected to a wifi network.
Did you try the new sim card? I’m just wondering if somehow a sim transfer was done if your current/”old” sim card is not working in either phone anymore. You did mention reinserting, retstarting, airplane mode, and putting them in differnet phones, so I think you did what you could to troubleshoot on your own after the new sim card. If it also doesn’tmwork, I’ll flag a rep to assist.
Hi @Zoeylou
We have looked into it and we see the sim is active. Are you still unable to connect to the network?
If you tried all the suggestions above, it sounds like the sim was damaged during the switch over.
In that case if you ordered a new phone from Koodo it should come with a new sim. So you can just swap the line over from your old sim to the new sim. Just make sure the verification code is not sent to the number that has the damaged sim

Hi,
Thank you for your help. In the end I activated my new sims card with Koodo self-help and inserted into my phone and everything works. For some reason my old sims card was deactived, but now everything is good. Thank you once again for your help.
