Activated a Samsung watch on my account tried to set it up but keep getting an error that Koodo doesn't have a cellular watch plan. Not sure how to proceed

It's a Samsung watch 7.  After an hour working on it figured out it needed multiple updates. The first update didn't bring it up to the latest had to update multiple times and eventually the cellular feature became available. 

 

If anyone else has this issue make sure you update your phones software. Connect the watch to the charger, update software and once done go back and see if there is another update. Once done proceeded to cellular. 


Was the smartwatch plan $10 for 5GB?

Yes!  Samsung watch for 10. Plan 10. Extended warranty for 9.  Connection fee was waived by 45 making it 25 instead of 70.
