I see that 1 Gigabit internet is now offered in Georgetown.
As I’m now on pure fiber 500Mb, I’m a bit hesitant to switch.
What are your real life experiences with a 1Gb plan?

It used Telus network (coaxial) not fibre. If you had someone in the area using Telus, you can ask them. The experience depends a lot on the location though. So someone had a good/bad connection somewhere else, it doesn’t mean you would see the same result.
