Porting from Telus- SOS showing

I just ported my phone number from Telus to Koodo. The self service page says transfer complete. However, I cannot make calls and my service shows SOS. I have tried restarting my phone.  On my iPhone, the General tab > About tab> says the Network is ‘Not available’. Any advice?

Hi there,

have you tried resetting your network settings or trying the sim in another phone? If those don’t work the sim may just be defective and you might just need to replace it. It happens more often that you would think.

Did the koodo sim work before the transfer?

Is your telus sim still working?

Thanks, I ended up going to the store. It seemed to be a SIM card issue as they put in a new SIM card and it worked right away.
